REGISTRATION AND LICENSING OF RUBBER MARKETERS 

(STARTING FROM WEDNESDAY 19TH JUNE 2024)

NOTE THE FOLLOWING-

TENTATIVELY, REGISTRATION SHALL BE DONE ONCE.WHILST LICENCE SHALL BE RENEWABLE AFTER 24 MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF ISSUE, UPON APPLICATION BY AN ACTOR. 

 

PLEASE ATTACH COPIES OF THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS TO APPLY AS: 

1. AN AGGREGATOR OF RAW RUBBER   
 
An aggregator of Raw Rubber Cup Lumps shall provide the following to qualify for registration and licensing by the Authority:
  1. proof of Ghanaian citizenship (Ghana Card, Passport and Drivers Licence);
  2. name of the business and registered trademark;
  3. location(s) of aggregation centre(s) with the Ghana Post GPS address(es);
  4. certificate of incorporation and commencement of business certificate;
  5. names of directors;
  6. address of registered head office;
  7. tax identification number;
  8. introductory letter from an off-taker (an off-taker here strictly refers to a Ghanaian registered raw rubber processing company or a Ghanaian registered raw rubber trading company).

 

 2. A TRADER OF RAW RUBBER   

  A trader of raw rubber shall provide the following to qualify for registration and licensing by the Authority:
  1. proof of Ghanaian citizenship (Ghana Card, Passport and Drivers Licence);
  2. name of the business and registered trademark;
  3. proof of membership of an identifiable Rubber Value Chain Association;
  4. location(s) of business(es) with the Ghana Post GPS Address(es);
  5. certificate of incorporation and commencement of business certificate;
  6. major shareholders of the company;
  7. names of directors;
  8. address of registered head office;
  9. bankers’ reference;
  10. tax identification number;
  11. introductory letter(s) from off-taker(s) (an off-taker here strictly refers to a Ghanaian registered processing company);

 

  1. RAW RUBBER PROCESSOR
     A processor of raw rubber shall provide the following to qualify for registration and licensing by the Authority: 
  1. name of the business and registered trademark;
  2. proof of membership of an identifiable Rubber Value Chain Association;
  3. location of business with the Ghana Post GPS Address;
  4. installed processing capacity;
  5. certificate of incorporation and commencement of business certificate;
  6. major shareholders of the company;
  7. names of directors;
  8. address of registered head office;
  9. bankers’ reference;
  10. tax identification number;

 

  1. AN EXPORTER (INDIGENOUS/FOREIGN) OF PROCESSED RUBBER (TSR)
     An exporter of TSR shall provide the following to qualify for registration and licensing by the Authority:
  1. proof of citizenship (Ghana Card, Passport and Drivers Licence);
  2. name of the business and registered trademark;
  3. proof of membership of an identifiable Rubber Value Chain Association;
  4. location of business with the Ghana Post GPS Address;
  5. certificate of incorporation and commencement of business certificate;
  6. major shareholders of the company;
  7. names of directors;
  8. address of registered head office;
  9. bankers’ reference;
  10. tax identification number;
  11. introductory letter(s) from supplier(s) (a supplier here strictly refers to a Ghanaian registered raw rubber processing company);

 

  1. AN EXPORTER OF RAW CUP LUMPS
     An exporter of raw cup lumps shall provide the following to qualify for registration and licensing by the Authority:
  1. proof of Ghanaian citizenship (Passport, Drivers Licence or Ghana Card;
  2. name of the business and registered trademark;
  3. proof of membership of an identifiable Rubber Value Chain Association;
  4. location of business with the Ghana Post GPS Address;
  5. location of farm/plantation with the Ghana Post GPS Address;
  6. size of farm/plantation in acres;
  7. age of farm/plantation;
  8. yield per annum per acre;
  9. certificate of incorporation and commencement of business certificate;
  10. major shareholders of the company;
  11. names of directors;
  12. address of registered head office;
  13. bankers’ reference;
  14. tax identification number;
