The newly appointed leadership of the Tree Crops Development Authority (TCDA) recently held a series of productive meetings to discuss the acceleration of the Tree Crops Diversification Project.
Among the key participants in the discussions were Dr. Ashwini Rekha Sebastian, the Task Team Lead at the World Bank, who brought valuable insights into the project’s long-term strategy.
Also in attendance were Hon. Eric Opoku, the Minister of Agriculture, and Hon. John Dumelo, the Deputy Minister for Agriculture, both of whom expressed their strong support for the initiative.
The TCDA’s leadership team, including the Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Rich Kofi Kofituo, was also involved in the conversations, which focused on strengthening collaboration between the government, international partners, and key stakeholders in the tree crops sector.
The discussions emphasized the critical role of the Tree Crops Diversification Project in diversifying the nation’s agricultural portfolio, creating job opportunities, and enhancing the livelihoods of farmers across the country.
